Join a fast-growing, open-source dev-tool startup with repeat founders and YC backing:

At Nango (YC W23), we have developed an open-source platform dedicated to product integrations. It’s a developer tool crafted by engineers, for engineers, seamlessly connecting software solutions.

We are searching for a senior product (full-stack) engineer who is keen on profoundly impacting other developers’ lives.

By joining us, you will be collaborating intimately with our two founders, founding engineers and customers across all facets of our startup. You will also be stepping into a well-funded, seed-stage startup environment.

Location

Remote across North America (EST timezone).

What You’ll Do

• Develop an open-source platform to accelerate product integration development by 10x.
• Contribute across our entire tech stack: frontend, backend, database.
• Work directly with out customers (engineering teams at B2B SaaS) to develop tooling & integrations
• Design unified APIs for various categories, including CRM, ticketing, accounting, HR, etc.
• Fully participate in defining the product and company strategy.
• Oversee our widely recognized open-source repository and engage with its community.
• Drive engineering best practices and make key technology decisions.
• Acquire the expertise needed to kickstart a dev-tool startup.

Requirements

• Exceptional ownership, strong work ethic, and a commitment to raising standards
• Great organizational skills to track and fulfill customer requests
• Effective communication to interact with customers, understand their requirements & enable their success
• Product skills & empathy for users, an instinct for optimizing Developer Experience (DX).
• Coding velocity & ability to multi-task to meet customer deadlines
• Ability to write high-quality code (readable, structured, documented, reliable, memory-efficient & performant)
• Communicate and collaborate effectively in a remote setting with excellent English proficiency.
• Bring 5+ years of experience in full-stack engineering to the table.
• Have a genuine enthusiasm for crafting developer tools.
• Embrace a collaborative spirit and ally mentality, essential for thriving in a tight-knit, agile team.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Node.js.
• Bonus: Past experience in an early-stage or developer-tool startup.
